On November 4th at 5:14 PM EST, we have a new moon at 18 degrees of Libra, Swati nakshatra. This means the sword, or independence, and spans from 6.4 degrees to 20 degrees of Libra. The symbol is a young sprout swaying in the wind, which is the Paisley symbol, or sea coral. The deity that rules this nakshatras is Vayu, the wind god, and this is known as the “Self-Going Star”, which is Arcturus, situated in the left knee of the boots constellation. It gives riches, renown, prosperity, success in the Fine Arts, and self-determination. Libra is ruled by Venus, and Swati is ruled by Rahu, so these two transiting planets will be particularly important today.
