The Sun goes into sidereal Scorpio on the 16th, and stays there until  December 15. This is the month of Kartik in the Hindu calendar, it has to do with the Warrior Kartikeya who is the deity of Krittika, and the Pleiades. We are now set up for the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, Krittika, which is happening on the 19th, and if you have been feeling the tension rise the past 10 days, it should now become more intense.

There are three nakshatras of Scorpio,  Vishaka, Anuradha, and Jyeshta. Sun will be in Vishaka, and Ketu will be in Anuradha for the Lunar Eclipse on the 19th. An eclipse is a shadow point, and things that were previously undisclosed to you come to light. Vishaka has to do with competition and winning, and hence jealousy, and having the Sun here means our ego will be engaged and it is time for us to stop fighting for recognition, asking us to let go of the drama. Having Ketu in Anuradha tells me that our friendships are bring brought into question, and is asking us, how good of a friend are you? Perhaps you need to cut people out of your life at this time because things are being revealed? You see, Rahu is in Krittika for this lunar eclipse, and this is the Star of Fire, and means “to cut.” Ask yourself, how much toxicity are you willing to deal with? It may be time to cut some friendships off.
