Well, it’s that time folks, it’s our first Mercury retrograde of 2021. Oh boy. When Mercury goes retrograde it is a time to review and not push forward on things, so go back over the work that you’ve already done and clean it up. Mercury only is difficult for us in the retrograde zone when we haven’t done our work, so he comes along and shows us the things we need to edit and revise so we can move on. He is the graha that rules media and communication, legal tender, as well as siblings.
Mercury enters retrograde at 10:51 a.m. EST on the 30th, and will be at 2 degrees 20 minutes of Aquarius in the nakshatra of Dhanishta. He is conjunct Neptune right now, but it is a very wide orb as Neptune is at 25 degrees currently; but these two planets together when they are direct can indicate lies and deception with speech, but having Mercury retrograde means that those lies and deceptions will be revealed. Dhanishta is all about wealth, and when Mercury goes back into Capricorn on February 5th you had better believe we will hear more about this GameStop stock market drama.
On February 11th we have the new moon in Dhanishta, and Mercury retrograde enters the nakshatra of Shravana, and as this is the Star of Listening, the opposite of listening is talking so we should hear a lot of gossip surrounding not only the stock market but also the election. I don’t think this is going to go away anytime soon, you guys. This new moon will be incredibly potent as we have the Sun, the moon, Mercury retrograde, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto all in Capricorn! That’s crazy. The next day on February 12th the Sun joins the moon and Neptune in Aquarius, and this should give more strength and vitality to exposing lies and deceptions. Astronomically, having this many planets conjunct the Sun will make the Sun go erratic, so watch for solar flares, and geomagnetic storms that could produce a high KP index, which will result in health issues. Mercury rules legal tender, he is the planet that actually rules money itself, whereas Jupiter and Venus represent the things that money can buy. Being that this is in Capricorn I really feel like we are all being asked to put a rein on our budget and make sure that we are spending wisely and saving. Find new ways to invest, or if you don’t have the energy to learn it yourself hire a good Banker who can help you. This is an excellent time to get your finances in order.
