Today’s New Moon took place at 12:34pm EST at 17 degrees of Aquarius, Shatibishak nakshatra. This means, “a hundred healers”, and spans from 6.4 to 20 degrees of Aquarius, and the symbol is an empty circle, or a thousand flowers or stars. The deity that rules this lunar mansion is Varuna, the god of water, who pours the nectar of immortality. The fixed stars in the constellation Aquarius rule here, and also Fomalhaut, which is a star of musical abilities and great spirituality. This is the “Veiling Star”, and as Varuna rules maya and illusion, he gives divine grace from sincere repentance. This nakshatra is concerned with healing, and people that have this prominent in their birth charts are often healers. If not themselves, then the circle of people around them could be alcoholics or drug addicts. The empty circle also represents the quantum field, and this is where true healing takes place. These are visionary psychics, and healers that can see into the source of the disease. These people are very intelligent and philosophical, and they need time to themselves to study and ponder the Great Divine. If they do not get this they will become moody and depressed, and even arrogant, thinking they know it all. This nakshatra is also associated with star gazing, and indeed many astronomers and astrologers have this placement somewhere in their charts.
Well, this New Moon really threw me for a loop! I thought it was yesterday, and that I was late. As you can see from the chart above, the Sun has all of the planets around him! Literally, all but Uranus are there, and this makes the Sun go bonkers. I’m surprised that we haven’t had solar flares yet, but mark my words, they will be coming soon with this configuration. This New Moon is occurring in the US 9th house of the day, which indicates law, and having Neptune there is telling me that deceptions will be revealed concerning laws. This is also the house of long distance travel, and so we know that this deception is coming from overseas, particularly in regards to the Ukrainian War.
Jupiter there is expanding everything, and testing our beliefs. What concerns me is the the ascendant nakshatra is in Ardra, which is the teardrop and indicates tragedies. When Jupiter is conjunct the Moon it’s called a Gaja Kesari Yoga, or “Elephant Lion” conjunction, and it is very fortunate! This gives abundance, wealth, happiness and peace of mind. We’re going to need it with all of the planets in two signs, though!! So, this helps to mitigate all of the heaviness of today.
The 12th house indicates foreign lands and we have Rahu there in Taurus, and as he is changing signs on the 17th, we see that these lies are also tied up with foreign relations. We have six planets in Capricorn in the 8th house today, and that is the house of transformation, death, sex, drugs, and rebirth. It’s also about other people’s money, so having the lord of the Moon, Saturn, there showing that the economy is slowing down. The Great Depression happened when Rahu was in Aries, and Ketu in Libra, so we can anticipate that the markets will be down this year, and it will affect cryptocurrency, as they have not fully decoupled yet. Crypto has been up and down all year, and some say we are on the rise, but this chart indicates otherwise. Be cautious like Saturn, and if you don’t sell on a low, you don’t lose money. This is a HODL chart if I’ve ever seen one.
When all of the planets are in two signs it’s called a Yuga Yoga, and it’s rare, although we had several planets in Capricorn last year, save Mars. This year we also have a Kala Sarpa Yoga at the same time, which means all of the planets are between Rahu and Ketu, and indicates that events that occur now are fated and destined. The outer planets are not included in these yogas, but look, they are there except for Uranus! This is exceedingly powerful, and this energy will knock you out depending on where it is in your chart.
In the US birth chart this New Moon is occurring in the 3rd house of media, communication, siblings, short distance travel, writing, studying, and legal tinder. Having Jupiter there with the Sun, Moon, and Neptune is showing again, big lies and deception, and now Russia has threatened the US with a cyber attack because of our support of Ukraine. That all can be seen in this New Moon chart. Rahu in the 6th house of enemies and Ketu in the 12th house of foreign lands is pointing to where the conflict is, and this is very clearly Russia.
On March 7th Mars and Venus will cross over the Ukraine’s Saturn retrograde, and then from March 27th to April 3rd Mars and Venus will cross over their Moon. I feel this will give support to Ukraine and putting the fighting in their favor, as the Russian soldiers are running out of food and ammunition. We shall see, but for sure this is the time when the fighting will get very intense.
