Venus Goes Direct in Sidereal Taurus

The sidereal zodiac is the “real star” placement of the celestial bodies; so when you look up at the sky with your phone using a sky map, that is the sidereal zodiac. Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, while Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, which pushes the planets and stars forward roughly 23.5 degrees.

Analysis
Today Venus goes direct after being retrograde since May 13th at 2:48am EST. Retrograde means that the planet slows down, but from our perspective it looks like it goes backwards. Venus goes retrograde the least among the planets at once every year and a half and goes retrograde in the same sign every eight years. Retrograde is not always bad and can exaggerate the planet’s themes. Some of the last times Venus was retrograde in Taurus; you will find the Venusian themes of art, luxuries, love, money and beauty:
