Hello, friends! I hope that you are all enjoying the springtime, it’s gorgeous here in Indiana. I apologize for posting this late to the blog, I thought I had done it before I went on vacation! We have a big month ahead, so let’s dive in. Some highlights are the big Rahu Jupiter conjunction on the 1st to kick off the month, Saturn going retrograde on the 17th, and then both Mars and Venus will be going gandanta almost exactly at the same time, as they are conjunct for awhile. Then, Neptune goes retrograde at the end of the month. Whew! How will this affect us? Well, be careful on the first when driving, as the conjunction is happening in Ashwini, “The Star of Transport”. We should definitely see the government agreeing on a plan forward to prevent a government shutdown by the Full Moon in Jyeshta on the 3rd, so don’t fret if it affects you directly.

Saturn slowing down starting now can be felt in machines that calculate time, it almost feels like a Mercury retrograde. It is a heaviness on your shoulders, too, so if you’re feeling depressed, this could be a part of it. So, if your watch, computer, phone, etc. decide to go wonky, you can bet it’s Saturn’s effect. This time is a great opportunity to review your work over the past six months, and jobs may come back to you during his 5 1/2 month retrograde time. Use the time wisely. Saturn is the planet of karma, and disease, so if you’ve had health problems over the past six months, you will be able to review your progress now.

Mars and Venus will be conjunct almost the entire month of June, except for the last day, in Cancer. Venus loves being in Cancer, because she does best in the 4th house, which is traditionally ruled by the sign of Cancer. Mars is debiliated in Cancer, and this makes him overprotective and trigger-happy. This should produce a lot of passion and sparks will fly for sure. Towards the end of the month when they are at the end of Cancer, they will go into the gandanta zone. This can make us feel like we are emotionally drowning, so you’re forewarned. Whatever house in your chart that is ruled by Cancer will definitely be hit during this time, so try not to fly off the handle.

Next month Venus will go retrograde in Leo, and then go back into Cancer and hit these degrees again, so pay attention to what goes down when Venus goes gandanta, because it will likely come back to you later this summer.
