In just a few hours we will have the 1st full moon of 2023. It will take place at 22° of Gemini, Punarvasu nakshatra.  This means “return of the light”, and the symbols are a bow and a quiver of arrows, used for hunting.  The deity that rules this lunar mansion is Aditi, she is the mother of 33 gods in the vedic pantheon, most notably here, the 12 Adityas.  These are solar gods of light, and represent the seasons of the year. Her name translates from Sanskrit as meaning “boundless, and freedom”.  However, in order to know what this means, one needs to understand what it means to be bound, and not free.  She is the personification of the sprawling infinite and vast cosmos. She is the goddess of motherhood, consciousness, unconsciousness, the past, the future, and fertility. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, and Punarvasu is ruled by Jupiter, so these two transit planets will be particularly important today.

On a personal level, we might see old issues crop up at this time concerning communication break downs.  Old fights might resurface, and as we have to return over these issues 2 or 3 times, you will start to see a pattern, and this will help you to analyze the situation better.  So be prepared to get triggered, but this time around you can learn not to emotionally react to the situation, and instead choose your actions so that you can move forward.
