Hello, friends! Here we are in February already, and as I’m writing this it is Imbolc, or St. Brigid’s Day, in Ireland. The three aspects of the Triple Goddess Brigid are: Goddess of healing and herbs, Goddess of smithing and building (represented by the anvil and the forge), Goddess of midwifery and fertility (of people and of crops). Brigid is seen as a keeper of the light and is often pictured holding a flame in the palm of her hand. This is also Groundhog’s Day, and both symbolize a return of the light. It’s freezing here in Indiana, but we haven’t had much snow or ice. Now we will see a noticable increase in the daylight, and before we know it, it’ll be spring! I just can’t wait to get my powerwasher out and clean the patio, we have a lot going on at our house this year with putting in a new backyard patio!

You know all of those projects that you’ve been putting off? Well, this month, you will get a green light! We finally have all planets going direct, and Saturn is in Aquarius, heralding a paradigm shift of mass consciousness. The whole month is a build up to a very important date on February 22nd, where we have the Moon between Venus exalted in Pisces and Jupiter in his own sign of Pisces. Wow, and we have Mercury making an exact trine to Jupiter that day! So, this is “almost” a Saraswati Yoga, but it’s defintely a Shubha Kartari Yoga. What does this mean? Great auspiciousness! Neptune is also there, but I feel that these two gurus who are usually enemies will actually bring out the best in him. So, if you’ve been looking for that launch date for a special project, the 22nd is excellent for everyone! Look to what house you have in the sign of sidereal Pisces (don’t use your Western sign, it won’t make sense), and that will be where this yoga is happening. The arts, music, literature, spiritual knowledge, and love, are the themes of this yoga, and the economy will get a boost, too.
