Key Rules for Interpreting the D24

Jyotish provides specific guidelines for analyzing educational karma in this chart:

1. The Lord of the 4th House shows your educational aspirations.

   • An unfavorable placement may indicate lower priority given to formal education.

   • If placed in the 2nd house (the house of speech and accumulation), it often signifies an aspiration for a Master’s degree or higher specialization.

2. Connection Between the 4th and 9th Lords (houses of basic and higher education) indicates a smooth transition from primary schooling to college and beyond. A strong link facilitates seamless academic progression.

3. The Moon’s Placement reveals your mental focus and inspiration.

   • Moon in a Fixed Sign (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius): Steadfast concentration, consistent study habits.

   • Moon in a Movable/Cardinal Sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn): A mind prone to new starts and distractions; needs variety.

   • Moon in a Dual/Mutable Sign (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces): Adaptable, balanced focus; can multitask but may lack depth.
