Today we have the New Moon at 22 degrees of sidereal Cancer, Ashlesha nakshatra. This means, “The Embracer”, and spans from 16.4 to 30 degrees of Cancer. The symbols are a serpent, either coiled or curled up, and the deity that rules this lunar mansion are the Sarpas, or the Nagas, which are deified snakes. This is “The Clinging Star”, and the stars that belong here are the stars that form the head of the Hydra, also Acubens, which is in the southern claw of the Cancer Crab constellation; it is good for writing, studying astrology, and public affairs.
The mythology of this nakshatra lies in the serpent bringing great wisdom that is found in all occult sciences from astrology to medical sciences. The Kundalini energy that is held in the sacral region of the spine holds the serpentine power, and once it is activated it rises and charges each chakra, which brings enlightenment and magical powers. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, and Ashlesha is ruled by Mercury, so these two transiting planets are particularly important today.
If you have this nakshatra prominent in your chart, you will have magnetic and hypnotizing eyes, but the negative side is that these people can squeeze the life force out of you and get overly attached. They are very sensitive and need a lot of touch and cuddling, and if you criticize them, they will take it personally. Once offended they often resort to black magic to get even with their perpetrator and can attack when least suspected. Their revenge does come back to them, and these individuals can suffer bad karma as a result from their own poison. They are also very sexual and may use sex to manipulate others to get what they want. If they have enough other good things in the chart these people can become the best healers; they will often be drawn to medicines that are like poisons that bring about transformation in the body, mind, and soul.
This New Moon is taking place in the 11th house of the day for Washington, DC. I always like to look at it from this place as it will tell how it is going to affect the entire US. Today we have the Sun and Mercury gandanta in a tight conjunction with the Moon, and as the Moon and Mercury are the indicators of the day, we see that the nakshatra theme is really playing out! You see, the 11th house is the house of friends, communities, large groups of people, and great gains, as in receiving a big check of money rather than several small ones. We see that the New Moon here in the house of communities is showing where the emphasis is, pharmaceutical companies receiving large sums of money for a vaccine. Ashlesha is all about medicine that is poison; it can either heal you, or kill you, it depends on the right dosage. Well, this is exactly what a vaccine is! It is poison meant to act like that snake bite, and the venom can either transmute you, or kill you. Don’t you love astrology?? Right now, the big debate is on whether to take the vaccine now or wait until more trials are done and it is proven safer. I am seeing this in this chart today, so it is not a personal opinion about vaccines that I am basing this interpretation on. Right now, Neptune is retrograde with Jupiter, and this indicates lies being exposed concerning the truth about our beliefs, and this conjunction is 8 houses from the Moon today, indicating more occult ideas and hidden things from the deep coming out, and deaths from poison. In the US birth chart of the day, we see that this New Moon is taking place in the 8th house, so it’s all about transformation and death; the vaccine will be the big issue. Rahu being in the 9th house of the day indicates that laws may be changing as a result of this New Moon concerning Covid-19, the vaccine and the resurgence.
Opposite the Moon/Sun/Mercury conjunction we have Saturn retrograde with Pluto; this intensifies hidden things underground being exposed, and they are in the 5th house of the day, so this indicates children, and education. They are reinstating the mask mandate in many areas, and many schools are under pressure to “do the right thing”, whatever that is according to your morals. Another thing about Saturn retrograde in the 5th house is that it can indicate pedophilia, and Pluto represents the mafia or secret societies, and I think that we will see something in the news concerning a large sex trafficking ring that gets busted. QAnon may have been disproven, but the fact remains that sex trafficking is happening, and if the government can’t crack down on it, then why not? Are they that ineffective, or are they “allowing” it to happen? This is what QAnon was addressing, but their real issue got swept under the rug in the wave of the Capitol Riots. This New Moon is going to bring to light the real issues without the “conspiracy” labels, because we have a real problem on our hands, and children are not safe until we figure it out. Remember, calling someone a conspiracy theorist is just a narcissistic gas lighting technique to shut you down, to tell you that you are stupid. Well, the facts speak the truth, and the truth doesn’t need to be proven by anyone, it is just shining there standing naked in the sunlight. Truth doesn’t need to stand up for itself or do anything, it just is. Mercury is saying, “don’t shoot the messenger”.
