Hello, everyone! I hope that you are doing well, and prospering. Here in Hindustan, Indiana, we have the beginnings of spring, and our pear tree already has buds! She will probably bloom next week if it stays warm. However, Indiana is famous for snow in April, and I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens again this year, as we have quite a tumultuous astrological month ahead! It’s eclipse season! Let’s take a look at what we have in store for us.

We started out this month with the first of two new moons, and as this is the Pisces New Moon, this is the Vedic New Year, and so this chart forecasts the entire year ahead. It looks like we’re going to be in an economic downturn for this next year. Here’s this month’s forecast with Dr. Santhip Kanholy and myself,

Mars has been in his sign of exaltation, and will enter Aquarius on the 8th to join Venus again. Mercury then goes into Aries to conjunct Rahu and Uranus, which could help travel, and litigation.

Then we have the big Jupiter Neptune conjunction on the 12th, and this could herald some big floods, scandals being revealed, and new inventions, and more news of space missions. Then on the 14th we have the Sun joining Mercury, and Jupiter enters Pisces, which he rules, and will stay there until April 22, 2023. I feel this will bring a healing to the US homeland, but at first there will be hardships; ultimately, we will birth a new reality in the next year so that once Jupiter goes into Aries the next year we will see the fruit of our hard work.

The Full Moon on the 16th is in Libra, Chitra nakshatra. This is going to be conjunct Ketu, and the US bringu bindu point, which brings good luck. We’re going to need it, because Saturn is giving his 10th aspect to Libra, and is almost exactly at the same degree of Ketu. For the US this is the 11th house of communities, so I feel this will be highlighting the refugee crisis. Ketu represents flags, and our ancestoral nationalities, so when Ketu wants to bring attention to something he “puts a flag up”, saying, “look over here.”

April 17th we have Neptune entering the sign of Pisces, joining Jupiter again; in Pisces this will bring even more flooding, but great art and music can be made now. On the 24th Mercury enters Taurus, and on the 27th Venus enters Pisces, exalted, and we have a shubha kartari yoga that day, which means the Moon is hemmed in by benefics. This is an excellent day to begin something and look to what house is your ruled by Pisces in your chart to see where this pans out.

April 28th we have Saturn entering the sign of Aquarius, which is his moolitrikona, or best, sign to be in, for about two and a half months; he will be conjunct Mars until May 17th, which creates frustration. Saturn is actually a very light air planet, and those qualities are best seen in Aquarius, an air sign that is concerned with humanitarianism. Saturn rules the working masses, and here he can really help the underpriviledged. He will go retrograde and go back into Capricorn on July 12th, and then re-enter Aquarius on January 17, 2023, so we will get just a taste of what this feels like for a few months.

Now for the big whammy: January 30th we have a Full Moon Solar Eclipse, the first of the year, Pluto goes retrograde, and we have a Jupiter Venus conjunction that day at 3 degrees Pisces, as well. This is very intense energy, and we will see massive transformations at this time.
